I have many different cameras like Foscam/D-link/Agasio which all work and the pan/tilt work with them too. However, I recently got a Tenvis 2013 and this camera caused a major issue with this software as it would continue to attempt to bring up an image and I would have to Force Quit the program. Trouble with Agasio A502w
Trouble with Agasio A502w
Hello,
I ordered this camera directly through the Agasio website. I recieved it approx 1 week ago along with an email saying the order had been filled by amazon.com<----(weird). Anyways, The Camera has 4 bad pixels in it and acts as if there is no I/R cut filter installed (trees are still pink). I tried to contact Agasio and Foscam (3 emails and 2 messages left) so I can get an RMA# to return it with no success. Not real impressed with the customer service thus far. Anyone else having trouble returning a camera?

Have you posted this note to the Agasio forum? I think the admin is the same for both forums, but I would post your concern there in any event. I have gotten pretty good results there. At least, the admin responded with a fix.

Ok,
I posted this in the agasio forums also. Hey rrs18 do you own any of the agasio camera's? If so, how do you rate the I/R cut filter? Is it working correctly for you?

I company the owens this site also owns the Agasio site. He's alot faster to respond to problems on the Agasio site.
I do own a A502 and the IR-Cut works well, it will get to oscillating at dusk most the time going in and out just like the Foscams

Zap,
Thanks for responding. You have any pixels out in any of your foscam's or agasio camera's? Just curious if this is common?

I have the 602 and the ir-cut filter works very nicely. No complaints. Colors are true to life during the day. Nighttime may be different as I have yet to be able to mount it more than 40 feet away. Waiting for a repeater that was promised.

Re: Trouble with Agasio A502w
Finally,
I did get some results by posting in the agasio forums. I recieved an email with an RMA# so that I could exchange the defective camera. Thats good news.
RRS18,
I've got a solar powered setup planned, I have everything I need except the functional camera at the moment.lol. I'm curious at the field of view and quality of that 602 at night. When you get it up and running will you post some screen shots?
If the Repeater doesn't work as planned (bandwith congestion), I recommend the Engenius 2611p power over ethernet ($70-$80) as an access point. I use it and maintain 94% strength at the end of 5 acres. Pretty cool.

Re: Trouble with Agasio A502w
The last two cam's that I RMA-ed, got an e-mail back saying the cam's worked 100% and that I would have to pay the freight to get them back, funny my 'old cams' that I got back had different serial numbers on them.
